Heritage Lottery Funding

Paisley People's Archive has received Heritage Lottery Funding to create an oral history archive of digitally recorded interviews with Paisley's former thread mill workers.  The Archive will also include new and archival photographs of the thread mill workers and the people who worked in them.

Working with heritage professionals from the Scottish Oral History Centre, University of Strathclyde, the Paisley People’s Archive is creating an accessible and user-friendly oral history archive of Paisley's rich industrial past.
